ABOUT BLUE NILE

Blue Nile Sparkles For Your Cleopatra

 Why is selling (or buying) diamonds over the Internet difficult?(trust, trust all have to do if the person buying or selling can deliver the product or if the person is fraud and people wish to see what they are buying and feel it and also wishing to waer to know how it looks on them.)

 How has Blue Nile built its supply chain to keep costs low?(no physical store , no retailer, not much employees, customization of the product, reduce cost whereas customer have to design to their test before manufacturing saving cos of producing more product..

 How has Blue Nile reduced consumer anxiety over online diamond purchases?(through the help of insurance, by insuraning their product and giving the customer garantee on a return policy.this can be done if the customer does like what they see or don’t like it after 28 days, they still have the reigh to return the product. With all this customer feel comfortable to buy and their anxiety level will not be that high.)

 What are some vulnerabilities facing Blue Nile?( people tend not to buy more expensive product over the internet, it will reduce the selling rate of blue nile and also is the product reqested by the customer, is it what he or she is getting, not about the return policy but if the person wishes to use it ungently, this problem can’t be solve immediately, dis aspect can make the customer always going for a traditional model.

 Would you buy a $5,000 engagement ring at Blue Nile?( No, why i said no is because i don’t trust paying more online.. incase of transaction problem)
